Introduction. Specific journalist criteria in selecting and filtering terrorist information, the inconsistent media coverage of terrorism short forms, framing news can shape a distorted understanding this phenomenon on global scale for audience. This lead to many negative consequences society, particularly loss its functional organizational capabilities resist adequately respond attacks due lack relevant information. Relevance study. As has become part Ukrainian agenda-setting, research topic is highly relevant. The findings our previous studies have demonstrated particular concentration attention West an ignoring activities world general. Therefore, we tend analyze geographical aspect TV correspondence actual situation worldwide. Methodology. Content analysis main method. empirical data collected from programs five highest-rated channels («Ukraina», «ICTV», «1+1», «Inter» «STB»). monitoring covered 769 September 2019 2020, which 154 stories about were found. Having applied comparative analysis, could compare obtained with statistics Global Terrorism Database, more accurately echoed globally.
